Meet Us

Tina Valerius and her husband Tom bought an empty house in 2014 with a dream in mind.  The dream was to have a homelike atmosphere with 24-hour assistance and provide person centered care to those in need.  And to this day that dream is a reality!

Tina was driven to this work from taking care of her grandparents and volunteering in nursing homes at a young age.  Tina is a licensed Assisted Living Director, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Food Protection Manager and has much geriatric and dementia training.  Tina and Tom have two children; Josh (25) resides in Missoula, Montana, and Jaden (22) resides in Winona, Minnesota.  In her free time, Tina enjoys being on the lake, hunting, playing games, sitting by the campfire, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Abby Rademacher is our Registered Nurse. Abby was raised between Richmond and St. Martin and currently resides there with her significant other Patrick and their five-year-old daughter Amery. Abby’s love of working with the elderly started when she was 16 and she had her first job as a certified nursing assistant. Abby has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Abby finds herself a simple person – all she needs in life is her family and friends to live a life of meaning.

Michaela Walz is our Assisted Living Director. Michaela was raised in a small town much like New Munich, so she can appreciate the close-knit community. Michaela has her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Rasmussen College in St. Cloud. Michaela has worked in the clinic setting, the Durable Medical Equipment atmosphere, home care and hospice and most recently was the Executive Director at Talamore Senior Living in St. Cloud. Michaela has a calling to serve seniors and feels it is her honor to be able to walk beside the resident and their loved one(s). A few fun facts about Michaela that she firmly believes in is to never go to bed upset. Always say “I love you”. Embrace every second. It is great to be different, and smile in all situations. One of the many things Michaela enjoys is building new relationships and therefore she is excited to support you, your family, and our community. Michaela and her husband Mike have a son named Maverik, a daughter named Millie and they reside out of Sauk Rapids. Michaela finds she is the most content when she is surrounded by family and close friends.
